Bulgaria

Upon start talking about Bulgaria, we must immediately underline that this country is one of those which, until the radical changes that took place in Eastern Europe in 1989, was having a totally State controlled economy without any possibility to independent and international players to enter the country.

Today Bulgaria is completely open to the foreign trade and is member of the main international organizations; the meeting of the European Union at Helsinki has placed the country among those that are candidates to become members in the years to come.

Taking benefit of this situation overseas investors have stepped-in to support the opening to the international trade with remarkable success.

Bulgaria is located in Southeastern Europe, bordering the Black Sea, between Romania and Turkey. The total area of the country equals 110,910 sq km.
