The volume of grain export from Ukraine will be increased.

Following the results of March, 2010 the volume of grain export from Ukraine will be increased. It is caused by that the government has promised to restructure debts on VAT to exporters of grain by emission of bonds of an internal state loan with long term of cycle. Such forecast was given by general director of the Ukrainian agrarian confederation (UAC) Sergey Stoyanov.

"In this connection some large participants of the grain market have made their minds to continue grain purchases its export, despite the "many-hundred-million" state debts on VAT and necessity of non-cheap crediting of such debts", - informs S.Stojanov.

In March, 2010 export of grain from Ukraine will make about 1,4 million tons that is 0,3 million tons more than the export volume for February. In particular, it will be exported 0,5 million tons of wheat and 0,4 million tons each of corn and barley. Let's remind, according to the UAC, export decrease owing to state debts on VAT - started in the beginning of 2010. Thus, in January the volume of grain deliveries has fallen to foreign markets to 1,78 million t. That is 180 thousand t less against December and 700 and 600 thousand t less against October and November, 2009.

In the UAC informed that with the purpose of avoidance of washout of a working capital - because of state debts on VAT increasing - many traders prefer grain purchase under currency contracts in ports, actually having stopped purchasing operations on local elevators for UAH. It has lowered a number of market members wishing to sell grain on such unusual conditions.
