As a result of world financial depression containers operations in 2009 were reduced by absolutely all containers lines - certain up to 89 %. Growing of volumes was not shown by any company.
Leading place in the final analysis of the year 2009 among containers companies which got the highest results in containers transportation through Ukrainian ports ranked Danish company "Maersk Line" (67077 TEU). Second place ranked Swiss company MSC (60077 TEU). On the third place is French company CMA CGM (57888 TEU). Top ten is closed by "K-Line" (8960 TEU).
