Cars and any vehicle are now Dangerous Goods
ITC LTD would like to inform about a new IMO regulation requiring any kind of vehicle is declared as Dangerous Goods. This amendment will be become mandatory as from January 1st, 2012.
If the shipper wants to ship it as harmless, shall certify that Special Provision 961 is complied with. This basically means:
1. Isolate the battery
2. Empty the fuel tank
