Carriers increase rates for containers transportation
Shipping company Maersk Line increased rates for containers transportation from the 1st of June. Rates were increased for $250/TEU on Asia - Mediterranean, Black Sea, North Africa and the Adriatic directions services and also fm Europe to North Africa and Mediterranean countries for $99,5/TEU. Company MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) with the purpose of freight's rate restoration on the Transatlantic direction fm the 1sr of July, 2010 declared about rate increasing for 300-400 USD/TEU. PIL implemented GRI fm 1st of June - 100-200 USD /TEU. About rate increasing also were informed be shipping companies CMA CGM, Cosco, Evergreen, ZIM.
