Three of the first-rates ports of Ukraine earned more then 1 billion UAH last year
Profit of the major ports increased twice.
Ports of Odessa, Ilyichevsk and Yugniy finished the year 2009 with total profit 1,2 billion UAH. Last year this characteristic was twice less.
Most of all earned Port Yugniy specialized for bulked and fluid cargoes - about 558 millions UAH. Next is Odessa Maritime Port with 297,6 millions UAH and the leader is Port of Ilyichevsk with more dynamic developed containers shipments. Last year its profit was 285 millions UAH as informed by press service of the Ministry of Transport.
At the same time fist months of the year 2009 majority of Ukrainian port were not charged - metal and iron ore shipping and receipt - the cargos which for the many ports for the present time are basic - were minimized. In spring increasing recommenced.
